Yes, but as in almost anything, make sure it is in limited quantity. Much of the red meat in America is high in fat. You want to buy meat that is at least 85/15 (15 = fat) – even better if it is 96/4 (4 < 15: less fat). Also, the best meat you can buy will be the grass fed beef available in specialty grocery stores such as Whole Foods and Central Market.
